Top Tripp 16: Danube Bicycle Path Source to Regensburg

Deutscher Donauradweg Donaueschingen

Donaueschingen is proud of having the source of the Danube River in its castle gardens. "Brigach und Breg bringen die Donau zuweg" is the town's saying (The Brigach River and the Breg River together give rise to the Danube). The beauty of the region is unquestionable; this is therefore the top tour beginning at the source of the Danube. The bicycle path was awarded the highest satisfaction award from 2004 to 2007, with 92% of riders giving it an "excellent" rating.
