- Day 2 — Schlögen, 43 km
Ride past Obernzell and Engelszell (monastery) to reach Au and the ¿Schlögener Schlinge¿ loop in the river.

- Day 4 — Grein, 63 km
Continue on to Enns, the oldest city in Austria and enjoy a coffee on the main square. Then, go by ferry to Mauthausen and further on the Danube bicycle path through the Strudengau valley to Grein.

- Day 6 — Krems/Traismauer, 54 (45) km
By roll ferry (technological original) to Arnsdörfer, then through the wonderful vineyards to Rossatz and Mautern, past the wine—growing village of Loiben, on to Dürnstein. Ride on to Krems (Cat. A) or on to Traismauer.

Ride through the fields in Tulln to reach Greifenstein, the first suburb of Vienna. Journey by S—Bahn (A), or pass by Klosterneuburg and on into the city center by bicycle (B & C). Visit to the Schönbrunn Palace.
