Route

• Sunday - Arrival
  From any DB/ÖBB train station to Radebeul/Ost. Pick up from train station done by hotel. Bicycle distribution and information.


• Monday - Dresden, 36 km
  Ride along the Elbe, passing Gauernitz castle, to Dresden (Baroque art museum, state opera house). Entrance ticket to the "Grünes Gewölbe", the treasury of the principality. Return to Radebeul.


• Tuesday - loop, 25 km
  Loop tour to Nassau, Friedewald, and past the Oberau palace. Return to Radebeul.


• Wednesday - The "Saxon Switzerland", 57 km cycle, 51 km bus/train
  Bus/train transfer to Bad Schandau. Ride on the bicycle path to the ferry to Königstein, then further on through the Elbe valley to the summer residence in Pillnitz. Return over Dresden.


• Thursday - Meißen, 33 km
  Bicycle tour to Meißen. Individual visits to the cathedral and castle Albrechtsburg. Guided tour of the porcelain works. Return to hotel.


• Friday - Moritzburg, 27 km cycle, 6 km train
  By bicycle and by the "Lößnitzdackel" train, go high up to castle Moritzburg. Return by bicycle to you hotel.


• Saturday - Torgau, 45-77 km cycle, 40-63 km bus
  Ride past vineyards and along the Elbe to Kreinitz, Mühlberg, and Torgau. Return by bus (also from Moritz/Staritz).


• Sunday - Journey Home
  Individual departure.
