Ride & Save Passau - Vienna
"Granny & Kids" Tour is offered departing from June 29 to June 5 and from August 19 to August 24.
Two children (under 12, double room) travel with two full-paying adults 50+ at a 70% discount.
Singles travel within these dates, in each case with a full-paying adult with maximum two children (under 12), at a 35% discount.

Half Board:
A rich, regional three-course dinner menu with choice of entrees is included. In Vienna you can choose your favorite from 20
different restaurants (some also in the Grinzing district).

Reductions:
Booking a child in a double room with 2 adults entitles you to a discount. Child from 0-6 years: 100% discount, 7-11 years: 50% discount, and from 12-15 years: 25% discount.

Hotels
The number of stars awarded each hotel is based on national classifications. We make our Bookings at notable hotels.
If our quotas on the "Place to Place" tours are full, we book rooms in hotels of the same quality and refund you
EUR 5,00/person/night. If this is not possible, we book a better quality hotel. In the worst - and absolutely exceptional -
case that only a lower-quality hotel is available, we will refund you EUR 18,00/person/night and inform you before the beginning of your tour.
Additional nights and hotels along the route are the same. In categories B and C, dinner is to be taken outside the hotel.
We will gladly provide a list of hotels at your request, by Email or by post, two weeks before the beginning of your tour. Please notify us upon Booking.
Premium-Class: Independently of national classifications, we bestow this seal on hotels possessing comfortable rooms, excellent service, exceptional cuisine, and a special flair.

Catalogue Prices
We always offer a Final Price from and to your point of departure. No surcharges for transfers, parking, taxes, etc.
in the middle of your holiday. No supplemental charges to the quoted prices. Booking possible up to 10 days before the
beginning of the holiday. Within 10 days, additional costs of EUR 25,00/Booking will be incurred. ReBooking within 6 weeks
of the beginning of the holiday will incur an additional cost of EUR 25,00.

Return Transfer
Included in all offers! On the Danube Bicycle Path: pickup by bus from May 16 to September 27 daily from the
hotel in Vienna (around 8:15 am) to your parked car in Passau (arrival 13:00). Return journey by train also without additional
cost - please mention this at time of Booking. For dates outside of this window, all return journeys will be by train.
Transportation of personal bicycles is only possible by bus return at a price of EUR 16.00 (without insurance) or
EUR 63.00 (with insurance up to EUR 6.000.-). The return journey can also be undertaken by ship without cost (page 14) or,
for an additional cost, by cruise liner (page 28). Bicycle return transfer on other bicycle paths can differ slightly in price.

Dates
A daily departure is possible for the destinations Danube, Lake Constance, Altmühl and the Mosel River.
For other destinations, departure is possible several times a week.

Bicycle Hire
Deutsche Qualitätsräder der Marken
German quality bicycles of brands Schauff (from Remagen) and Kettler, kept up by careful maintenance,
ensure a tour free from breakdowns. Standard are 7 gears with internally geared hub, wide seat,
26- or 28-inch frame height and three brakes. Please mention upon Booking if you are taller than 1,90 m or
shorter than 1,60 m. We can also offer a 24-speed bicycle (free wheel) at no extra charge. Please mention upon Booking.
Electric bikes to support those riders with lower fitness levels can be hired for use on the Danube bicycle path at a cost
of EUR 100,00/week. The electric bicycles (the well-engineered model Adventura) have a cruising range of 65 km/day with a 450 W performance.
Die Bicycle distribution is carried out on the day of arrival until 19:00. If you arrive later, you can pick up your bicycle on the following morning.
Discount when bringing your own bicycle: EUR 50,00 (please mention upon Booking that you plan to bring your own bicycle). For supplementary costs regarding return transfer of your own bicycle, see the point Return Journey.
Child's bicycles available from a 20-inch frame size. Please indicate child's age and height upon Booking.
Bicycle Trailers/Kiddy-Van
Our hire service offers well-maintained trailers for one or two children (max. 40 kg).
A German quality product with 3-part safety belt and upholstered seat. Hire price: EUR 35,00 plus EUR 15,00 cleaning fee. Deposit: EUR 90,00.
A child's rear cycle
offers good pedaling support for children who are too large for a child's seat but
too small to ride their own bike safely. A bar connects the adult's and the child's bicycles.
The tandem child's rear cycle is outfitted with a chain guard, fender, adjustable saddle, and indicators.
Only bookable in conjunction with an adult bicycle hire. Helps also with adult balance. No hire fee! Deposit: EUR 100,00.
