Sights
Metzonce capital of a prominent diocese, boasts a cathedral with a marvelous atmosphere and a very beautiful old town. In Trier
we find the Porta Nigra, a Roman city gate. Also found are the bishop's residence, imperial thermal springs, a secular Roman basilica, and an amphitheatre.
Bernkastel-Kues boasts beautiful timber-frame buildings and picturesque vineyards.
The Reichsburg castle and a magical old town can be seen in Cochem.
In Koblenz, we find the Ehrenbreitstein fortress, a castle, and the "Deutsches Eck", a monument on the river promontory.
